Les consultations mémoire permettent d’évaluer les troubles de la mémoire repérés par le médecin traitant, qui s’il le juge nécessaire, vous orientera vers une consultation mémoire.
La consultation mémoire sert à :
- diagnostiquer un trouble de la mémoire ;
- rassurer les personnes se plaignant de troubles de la mémoire et n’ayant pas de pathologie avérée ;
- prescrire les traitements spécifiques, les séances de réhabilitation proposées à domicile par les équipes spécialisées Alzheimer en cas de maladie d’Alzheimer.
- identifier les situations complexes justifiant le recours au centre mémoire de ressources et de recherche qui est une structure implantée au sein d’un centre hospitalo-universitaire, réalisant des travaux de recherche et des formations ;
- transmettre rapidement le résultat des consultations au médecin traitant sous huit jours ;
- participer à la formation des professionnels impliqués dans la prise en charge des personnes malades.

- Une personne âgée (+ 60 ans)
- Un adulte en situation de handicap ou atteint d'une pathologie chronique et/ou invalidante
Dont la nature de la dépendance est :
- Perte d'autonomie liée à l'âge
- Maladie d'Alzheimer ou apparentée
- Maladie de Parkinson ou apparentée
